Success Stories
Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan, Natalya came to the United States six years ago. Needing English language instruction, she enrolled at Durham Tech, and then transferred to Carolina through the C-STEP program. She is majoring in business administration. Brian Woodward, C-STEP Class of 2009 Brian is from Snow Camp, N.C. He spent three years studying at Alamance Community College, and has now transferred to Carolina as a participant of the C-STEP program. Through the Carolina Covenant, a needbased aid program that helps low-income students pay for college, Brian will graduate from Carolina debt-free. He is majoring in history.
